I have 20 years of EFL teaching experience in FE from Pre-beginner to advanced, both in UK and abroad, all ages

I've taught EFL in private language schools and in Further Education, in the UK. I have taught mostly adults and teenagers, in groups and individually. Mostly face to face but also online. I help students with their four language skills as well as with learning about the English culture and the strong connection between language and culture. I taught complete beginners and advanced students, using differentiation to adapt my teaching to my learners' respective needs.
I also run a workshop to native speakers on how best to communicate with those who use English as an additional language because I know, from my students, how hard it is for them to interact with native speakers and build friendships with them.
I teach in a fun way, changing activity and pace to keep students motivated. I have a large selection of worksheets, built over many years of teaching and I am very good encouraing students to try, to not be afraid of making mistakes.
