I have had a strong passion for both Maths and English from a young age, and I’ve been tutoring these subjects for over seven years. I support students from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3, and I also cover selected GCSE topics. In addition, I specialise in preparing students for 11+ entrance exams, drawing on my own successful experience. I passed the 11+ exams for both Bournemouth School for Boys and Poole Grammar School, scoring highly in each—demonstrating my commitment to academic success and the value I place on education.

My approach is fully tailored to each individual student. I identify their strengths and areas for improvement, create a personalised learning plan, and set regular homework to support their progress. I work closely with students to build confidence, improve understanding, and help them achieve their goals.

I also have experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), including autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia. I adapt my teaching methods to create a supportive, patient, and inclusive learning environment.

I have worked with two national tutoring organisations, supporting a wide range of students across different age groups and educational backgrounds. This includes helping SEN students reintegrate into mainstream education and achieve positive outcomes.

Academically, I scored very highly in my Maths and English at Bournemouth School for Boys. I went to Brockenhurst College, to finish of my A levels in pure business with a BTEC Level 3 Diploma achieved. I achieved A*AA.

I then went onto Bournemouth and Poole College, to study AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), which there I also achieved both merits in both and I am officially am an AATQB (AAT Qualified Bookkeeper.)

I do provide a first lesson free as well as a 20 minute video call just to grasp what the student’s needs and wants to achieve.
