I am a lecturer with over 20 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to university students and adults

I studied ESOL at Jurate’s sessions onsite and online for three years, including during Covid. The lessons were always engaging and useful, with different activities that made learning interesting. I especially enjoyed practising real-life situations, dialogues, and grammar, which helped me to improve my English step by step. Now I can volunteer and help translate for our community members who need support with English. I am very thankful for Jurate’s teaching and encouragement.

Jurate is very strong at teaching grammar. She explains even difficult rules in a simple way. I feel more confident now when writing in English.

I am a real beginner, and I started Jurate’s ESOL sessions at Boston English Academy UK. I am improving step by step with her well-structured lessons. Jurate’s engaging character makes us feel supported, because everyone gets attention and help during the class. I also like that she knows many languages and can explain in my native language too. This makes learning easier and gives me more confidence. I am very happy with my progress.
