Experienced Tutor in Biology, Chemistry & Physics - Remote

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Honours and am currently a Science teacher completing my PGCE and working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I also achieved 11 GCSEs on the new 1–9 grading scale, giving me strong insight into current curriculum requirements and examination standards.

I have over three years’ experience working in schools and two years’ experience as a tutor, and I currently tutor pupils alongside my teaching role. I specialise exclusively in Science, offering high-quality tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Physics up to A-level. As a practising teacher, I am highly familiar with GCSE and A-level specifications and effective exam preparation strategies.

Alongside my science specialism, I have previously taught Maths and English Language in school settings, which strengthens my ability to support students with numeracy, literacy, scientific terminology and exam technique within Science lessons.

I have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and adapt my teaching to meet individual learning styles, confidence levels and academic goals. My approach is structured, supportive and outcomes-focused, with a strong emphasis on deep understanding, confidence building and exam success.

Tutoring is primarily online, offering flexibility and consistency. In-person sessions are available by arrangement, with an additional charge to cover travel.
