My greatest strength is my empathy and my ability to relate to people and understand their needs. During my leanership last summer, I was working as a Grade 6 Assistant Teacher at Laèrskool Rooshèuwel. I came across a learner who had struggle with her speech because she was stuttering and her use of grammar in a sentence was inconsistent I became more considerate and by listening to her concerns and communicating with her both on a professional and on a personal level, I managed to teach her and offer some speech therapy. I believe that a happy learner is a vital component of any successful school and I am confident that my empathetic approach can help the learners build positive, lasting relationships with yours.
