Advert description
I am a 31-year-old Research and Development Engineer with over 5 years’ experience in part time private tutoring and hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Aerospace and Mechanical engineering respectively whilst graduating amongst the top 5% of my class. I enjoy teaching and my students have said that I am very patient, approachable and make teaching enjoyable. My excellent communication and interpersonal skills have helped me to deliver quality teaching over the years.
My tutoring approach is a flexible one which hugely depends on the level and needs of the student; focusing mainly on areas of weaknesses in the subject and the topics that the student finds difficult. I produce lesson plans, deliver lessons, provide one to one support and guiding them towards personal development. I explain things in a simple and logical manner, motivate students to achieve excellent grades through positive attitude, setting targets for improvement and providing timely feedback on assessments.
I can teach Maths and Physics confidently. I am mainly focused on tutoring KS3, KS4, KS5, A levels, GCSE, and undergraduate students. For Maths, I have a strong background in number systems and arithmetic, algebra, calculus, trigonometry, matrix algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics, and other science subjects. For Physics, I can handle topics in Mechanics, Optics, Electromagnetism, Relativity, Acoustics, Thermodynamics, Motion, and Force.
