I would start off by making them do a question and finding out where their weakness lie and finding out why they got the question wrong. Then I will do the same question while explaining my thinking. Then we will do a question together and I will ask them questions about the question and how they will approach it now. If they get stuck I will ask them what they are thinking and how to break down the steps and figure out the answer.
