Online 1-1 English tutor ! Early years - KS2

Hi I’m safiyya, 20 years old from Birmingham , an individual who is passionate in reading and writing. I want to continue teaching children as I believe every child carry’s unique potentials that are waiting to be fulfilled. I hold a level 2 childcare qualification and GCSE English. My level 2 qualification has allowed me to work in two nursery’s in the past year , it’s shown me patience , personalised guidance and challenging tasks. It’s allowed me to watch a child’s face light up when they are proud for an achieving a skill, and having been able to find their voice and expressing themselves. I like to create a safe , nurturing space for the children to feel valued , respected and encouraged to reach their goals.
I offered 1-1 tutoring at nursery’s I have been employed at which were designed for me to support young children’s development , mainly focused on literacy and phonics.Drawing on my Level 2 qualification , each session was carefully planned to match the child’s unique learning style and interest creating a warm and comfortable engaging environment for the children to engage with me , for them to explore and feel comfortable and safe to ask me questions . Literacy is my strongest skill , I used this skill when doing 1 to 1 sessions with the children through interactive story telling ,to help their reading and writing skills.
