With two years of hands-on tutoring experience, I bring both strong subject knowledge and a relatable, student-friendly approach. I’ve successfully supported students from Years 7 to 10 in Maths and Biology through private in-person lessons, often working with local families, family friends, and younger relatives. This has helped me build a flexible teaching style which is tailored to each student’s unique pace and learning style.

Initially, I focus on building a solid foundational understanding of key concepts while also helping students develop the exam skills they need to succeed. I use clear explanations as I understand the importance of grasping the basics before tackling more complex concepts, so students feel constantly supported. Progress is monitored regularly by short tests/ quizzes as a form of knowledge recall to ensure students are staying on track.
Whether it’s reinforcing classwork, tackling tricky topics, or preparing for assessments, I aim to create a comfortable, engaging learning environment that helps students truly thrive.

I don't teach with the sole goal of improving grades, but to help each student feel capable and proud of their progress by making learning accessible.
