I am a friendly Biomedical Science graduate currently studying towards a master's in Public Health. I achieved 8s and 9s in my GCSEs and achieved A*AA in my A-levels. This gave me a strong foundation for my higher education. My degrees have shaped my approach to learning and revision, deepening my understanding of science. I have previous experience tutoring and thoroughly enjoy supporting students academically. As someone who has been tutored themselves, I understand the importance of creating an environment where students can progress at their own pace. I enjoy sharing the revision techniques, resources and exam strategies that helped me throughout my own academic journey. My lessons are tailored to the student's needs. Typically, lessons begin with a review of theory before using the remaining time to practise exam questions. I utilise concise notes and diagrams to simplify the content. By incorporating exam-style questions into my lessons, I can reinforce their learning in a low-pressure environment. This allows me to identify areas for improvement. Over time, this also helps students become more familiar with exam formats and develop effective exam techniques. My lessons closely follow the relevant specification so students receive a consistent education, meet the required standards, and are well prepared for future exams. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students gain more confidence in their academic abilities. My goal is to help students reach their full potential in a safe space.
