I have a strong academic background and experience tutoring sixth form students and peers. I am a great communicator and work collaboratively with students to achieve the best outcomes.

My teaching will be tailored to the unique needs of each student. I will begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and identify any gaps in understanding. I will then work with the student to set SMART learning goals that align with their academic curriculum. I use a variety of teaching methods - explaining concepts, providing visual aids, encouraging discussions - and promote active recall through quizzes, summarising activities, and past papers. I foster a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I will promote critical thinking by challenging them to analyze information and apply their knowledge. I will also share additional resources, such as articles, videos, or textbooks, to supplement their learning and broaden their understanding. I plan to regularly assess student’s to gauge progress, identify areas that may need further attention, and adjust the tutoring approach accordingly. I will also teach effective study strategies, time management, and organisation skills to help students develop a structured approach to learning. I will provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to boost the student's confidence and motivation.
