I am a friendly and patient person who enjoys helping others learn and improve their confidence. My lessons are aimed at students

I believe everyone learns differently, so I always try to understand what each student needs before starting. I like to explain things in a simple and clear way, using examples and going through questions step by step. I don't mind explaining something more than once because I know some topics can take time to understand. I have a background in Electronic and Communications Engineering and experience working with data, maths and problem solving. My work also involves supporting and guiding colleagues, so I am used to explaining things to people with different levels of experience. During lessons, I would first find out which areas the student is struggling with and what they would like to achieve. We would then work through the topics together, practise questions and go over anything they find difficult. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, even if they think the question is simple. My aim is to help them understand the subject properly, improve their confidence and make progress at their own pace. I am happy to adapt lessons depending on the student's level, whether they need help with the basics, homework, revision or preparing for exams.
