Experienced GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics Tutor | Exam Focused Lessons

Hi, I’m Mariya, a current MPharm (Pharmacy) student with a passion for helping students succeed in science. I specialise in tutoring GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, providing personalised online lessons that are engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

I have been tutoring for over 2.5 years, working with students of different abilities to improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance. Many of my students have gone on to achieve at least two grades higher than their starting point through consistent support, targeted practice and effective exam strategies.

Having recently completed my own A Levels and now studying Pharmacy, I have an up to date understanding of the GCSE and A Level specifications, allowing me to explain complex scientific concepts in a simple and accessible way. I also have experience mentoring students in Biology and Chemistry, helping them build strong subject knowledge while developing the skills needed to excel in exams.

Every lesson is carefully planned around the student’s goals. I use exam style questions, active recall, spaced repetition and proven revision techniques to strengthen understanding and maximise exam performance. I also focus on teaching students how to approach exam questions effectively, helping them gain the marks they deserve.

My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, and I am committed to helping them reach their full academic potential.
