Online English Language and Literature Tutor - Primary, GCSE, AS and A Level

I am an undergraduate university student with experience in tutoring students in English, having helped students go from Grade 3 - Grade 8 within just a few months. I achieved Grade 9s in both English Language and Literature GCSE, and As in English Literature AS and A Level. I specialise in personalising learning for students, helping them master the mark scheme, exam technique and essay structure. I am skilled in teaching all abilities of English and work hard both in lessons to provide the most productive learning sessions, and out of lessons to create teaching plans suited to each individual student. I start with a free taster session for the student and I to get to know one another, which helps me format future lesson plans. For example, some students may require extra time to learn a concept and I will therefore break it down in simpler steps. Also, some students may prefer first hand practice at writing while others may like to focus on learning new concepts in lessons. As a first year university student, I have the experience in academia to know what learning strategies are most productive. Moreover, with experience in communicating with all English abilities, I am able to tailor lessons to students in a way that is most productive for them.
