Advert description
My name is Tama, and I’m really happy to be here and have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside you. A little about me: I have an MBBS degree from Shihezi University in China and I’m currently pursuing my postgraduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Medicine has been a big part of my life for several years now, and although it can be challenging at times, it has also taught me so much about patience, dedication, and the importance of never giving up on yourself.
One thing I’ve learned throughout my own journey as a medical student is that you don’t have to understand everything straight away to become a good doctor. I know how overwhelming it can feel when you have so many topics to study, complicated concepts to understand, and exams to prepare for. Sometimes, you read something again and again, but it still doesn’t quite make sense. And sometimes, you understand a topic during a lesson but struggle to remember it later. If you’ve ever felt that way, trust me, you’re not alone! I believe that learning becomes much easier when you have someone who takes the time to explain things patiently, encourages you to ask questions, and helps you understand the reasoning behind what you’re learning.
That’s exactly the kind of tutor I hope to be for you. I don’t want our lessons to feel like you’re simply listening to someone talk while trying to memorise as much information as possible. Instead, I want our sessions to feel comfortable, interactive, and genuinely helpful. You should always feel free to ask questions, tell me when something doesn’t make sense, or ask me to explain a concept in a different way. There are no silly questions here! I would much rather explain something ten times until it becomes clear than have you leave a lesson feeling confused.
I’m particularly interested in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pathology, basic medical sciences, and clinical topics. Through my postgraduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, I’ve also developed a special interest in women's health and reproductive medicine. I enjoy understanding how the human body works, why certain conditions develop, and how the knowledge we gain from textbooks connects to real clinical situations. I would love to share that curiosity with you and help you discover that medicine can be fascinating when yo
