Yijiao is a dedicated Chinese teacher with a background in Film Studies. She has been living in the United Kingdom for almost two years, immersing themselves in both British and Chinese cultures to gain a comprehensive understanding of language and communication.

Born and raised in China, She developed a passion for storytelling and visual arts. She pursued a Master’s degree in Film Studies & Philosophy at King's College London (KCL), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in China, exploring screenwriting, cinematography, and film theory to understand the intricacies of visual storytelling.

Driven by their own experiences and a desire to bridge cultures, Yijiao believes language is a gateway to understanding different cultures and use innovative methodologies to create immersive learning experiences for their students. By incorporating film excerpts, music, and literature, Yijiao makes the learning process engaging and enjoyable while encouraging students to explore Chinese cultural nuances.

Yijiao actively engages with the local Chinese community and participates in cultural events and language exchange programs. She has a genuine passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of the Chinese language, whether for academic, professional, or personal purposes.
