I have a strong academic background, achieving Grade 9s in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and studying Maths and Physics at A level. I also hold Grade 8+ qualifications in Classical Flute and Saxophone. Alongside my studies, I have worked as a swimming teacher for three years, teaching children, adults and SEN students. This experience has taught me how to communicate clearly, be patient and adapt my teaching to suit different abilities and learning styles. In my lessons, I focus on understanding rather than memorising. I break difficult topics into manageable steps, use clear explanations and worked examples, and provide practice questions to reinforce learning. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems independently, helping them build both confidence and strong problem-solving skills. My aim is to create a supportive and engaging environment where every student can make progress at their own pace.
