Advert description
I have a bachelor's degree in applied computer science and have been teaching for more than 4 years for students at the university. I am working as a lecturer assistant who assists the student in the practicum programming language and database systems in one of the private universities, Universitas Dinamika formerly STIKOM in Surabaya, Indonesia. In addition, I focused on teaching the fundamentals of programming concepts and syntax. I have assisted in Java programming language, Web programming language, and Oracle database system every semester. Furthermore, I delightfully help my students troubleshoot and enthusiastically encourage them to build the basic programs.
In my Indonesian lessons, I aim to teach students the basics of the language, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills. I believe that learning about Indonesian culture and history is also important for understanding the language and making connections with native speakers. My lessons often include a mix of written and spoken exercises and opportunities for cultural immersion.
Finally, in my English lessons, as it is my second language, however, I would work with students to improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through a mix of exercises and conversation practice. I believe that a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary is important for effective communication, so I often incorporate these topics into my lessons.
