PhD with 10 years of teaching experience from schoolkids to postgrads

Over the past 10 years, I have taught at every level from 6-year-olds struggling with Math homework to postgrads completing their thesis, During this time, I have learned that the best way to help students develop their knowledge is to make sure that lessons are engaging, interactive and accessible.

I have worked hard to develop a reputation as someone who can simplify highly complex content and deliver it in a way that is interesting, understandable, and exciting. I always strive to build a rapport with my students, so that I can be responsive and sensitive to their knowledge base, study goals, and learning styles.

I am the teacher who you can feel comfortable asking "stupid questions". I have been told that my classes feel more like a conversation, than a lecture!

I am currently a full-time contracted lecturer in a third-level institution in Dublin and have almost 10 years of teaching experience shared across multiple esteemed colleges and universities in Ireland. During this time, I have delivered modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level that span the psychological discipline, including social, developmental, cognitive, biological, experimental, educational, and performance psychology, as well as psychometrics, research methods, and data analysis.


In addition, I have extensive experience in applied settings, particularly in education, as I am part of a vibrant and burgeoning research stream that has refuted the century-old notion that intellectual ability cannot be improved via training.

I have also served as an assistant psychologist in an educational psychology practice, and thus, have hands on experience in the diagnosis and amelioration of learning & behavioural difficulties.

Furthermore, I run my own private practice in the area of sport and performance psychology in which I coach individuals to perform at their utmost regardless of their domain of activity.
