As a passionate and dedicated guitarist with years of experience in both live performance and academic study, I bring a supportive and engaging approach to tutoring. My background includes delivering workshops on improvisation and music theory at college level, where I helped students build confidence in their playing through accessible techniques and positive encouragement.

I specialise in breaking down complex musical ideas into practical steps, tailored to each student's pace and style. Whether it’s guiding beginners through chord shapes or helping more advanced players explore modal soloing, I aim to make every session enjoyable, clear, and musically inspiring.

Having studied a range of genres including jazz, rock, and modern styles, I offer well-rounded knowledge and a strong foundation in music theory. I’ve also developed my own resources to support students in learning creatively and independently. My ability to empathise with learners, particularly those who may feel overwhelmed or unsure, is one of my greatest strengths as a tutor.
