Music production for beginners, singer-songwriters, music tech a-level students and more!

Either in-person or online will consist of showing the basics of logic, understanding the fundamentals of production and learning mixing techniques. My tutoring will allow you to build worlds with your music through a comprehensive guide to creating records for beginners. We will go through the fundamentals of production and sound, synthesis, effects and more in order to give you a broad understanding of production.

Online we can use Sonobus to share logic projects in real time with no audio latency or in-person can work between my MacBook and whatever tech you have. My lessons can apply to Logic and GarageBand mainly but the fundamentals are applicable to any DAW.

Through a first interaction, I will try and figure out your knowledge level, goals and equipment and then tailor the tutoring to suit your specific needs. My expertise is in indie, experimental, folk, jazz, singer-songwriter, ambient, neo-soul, r&b and math rock but I am happy to tutor in most genres, as the fundamentals still apply!

I have been producing music for nearly 5 years, with an A-level in Music Technology and currently studying Commercial Music (BA) at Bath Spa University. Therefore, I have the experience to provide beginners the tutoring they need to familiarise themselves with production and gain experience.

The results of this tutoring can be applied to:
- Creating high-quality demos as an independent artist/band (for A&R, promoters, etc.)
- Revision or help with coursework for a music technology a-level (or equivalent qualification)
- Creating a portfolio for university
