I support students in reaching their academic goals by bringing warmth and a sense of ease to the learning process.
With a background in astrophysics research, I have a deep understanding of maths and physics, and enjoy sharing it in a way that is clear, accessible and exam-focused. My teaching style is highly adaptable to the needs and interests of each student. I believe everyone has a unique way of operating in the world, and so much of learning (and getting the grades) is really about honouring how you work as a person!
I write on a tablet for online lessons, and sometimes code up visualisations, which can be helpful in developing a better understanding of a topic.
Here's a bit more about me: I graduated with an MSci in Theoretical Physics at UCL in 2020, and completed a PhD in Astronomy at the University of Sussex in 2025 (had lots of fun studying the evolution of faraway galaxies). During the PhD, I tutored in a few maths modules, and got involved in lots of science outreach. My A Levels were a while ago, but I remember the challenges from that period of time, and certainly experienced the difference the right tutor can make. I offer free trial lessons, so do get in touch if you feel I may be able to help.
