I am an experienced teacher that has worked with children from Early Years through to GCSE. I would like to help those that struggle with maths and need support and encouragement to increase their confidence with the subject and as a result their results

I qualified in 2006 with a Primary PGCE and went on to work in a Secondary School teaching Maths. I have taught up to GCCE Foundation level and have lots of experience working with students with SEND and those that are disillusioned with the subject and need encouragement to believe that they can achieve.

I currently tutor students online and in person on a 1:1 basis. I tend to do 1 hour sessions that follow a three part model. I try to include lots of short activities to keep focus and interest. The sessions are tailored to your needs that I assess on a wi going basis.

Depending on your level I always try to link what we are studying to a real-life context to ensure it is relevant.

Even online, I am able to build positive relationships and help build the confidence of students to get them to believe they can achieve.

I really enjoy tutoring sessions and hope to increase the number of students of students I have as I find it incredibly rewarding.
