English tutor for GCSE, A Level and EFL

I have a wealth of experience in teaching and tutoring a wide range of students, from age 14 to adults. This includes teaching GCSE English Language and English Literature, A Level English Language and English Literature and the combined A Level English
Lang/Lit. I am an examiner for a major exam board which provides me with detailed insight into the use of mark schemes and exam technique. I also have experience of coaching for OXbridge and Russel Group applications. Training and experience in teaching students with neurodiverse learning needs has fostered an empathy with students who respond to learning styles and strategies tailored to their specific needs. My tutoring style involves close work on exam-style questions in a relaxed and friendly environment. I incorporate interactive technology where useful in lessons and provide learning materials for students. I am also a qualified EFL teacher with 250 hours of TEFL training and knowledge of IELTS, TOEFL and other EFL English examinations. I consider myself to be a dynamic individual and love meeting new learners and helping them to achieve to their goals!
