My father was a Professor of English and Literature. Literature can take you to various regions in the world and help you Know Thyself’!!! It can bring you an inner peace and an understanding of mankind and the world he exists in.

I want my students to fall in love with Literature and English and not view it as a mountain they must climb. I like to actively involve my students and make learning fun. I use visual aids so they can ‘experience’ the lesson. I teach a lesson and then reinforce the lesson. I give the historical background of the time a passage was written to provide better understanding. I also encourage group assignments if it’s a classroom.
