I'm a teacher who enjoys making learning fun.

Advert description
I teach my students using task-based learning with realia, and non-grammar-based communicative methodology. This allows for broader learning opportunities for the student.

I’m from New York in the United States. I’m a native speaker of American English. I speak with a neutral upper east coast American accent. I’ve been teaching English as a Foreign Language since 1990 in private schools, university, and privately in Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and Czechia.

Please note! My students are a minimum B2 level, up to C2.

I teach English Conversation using news and magazine articles about all kinds of interesting current events. If you like a certain topic, we can focus on that.

In my lesson you will use the basic skills that create language – reading/listening, writing/speaking.
When you can approach a topic from different angles it’s easier to speak about it. The objective is for you to find your English voice and feel comfortable using it.

I will engage you in lively discussions, correcting your pronunciation, tone inflection, vocabulary, and usage. You will always learn something new and interesting from my lesson.
