I am a native Mandarin speaker with a Grade 1‑B Mandarin proficiency certificate. I studied Chinese Media and Communication at university and received professional hosting and vocal training. This special training makes me highly sensitive to tones and pronunciation details, so I excel at identifying and correcting learners’ pronunciation problems efficiently. I have rich experience teaching students aged 7 to 18. I adjust my teaching style for different age groups. For younger children, I use games, picture prompts and role‑play to keep lessons fun and engaging, lowering their pressure to speak. For teenagers, I design structured plans based on their goals: casual daily conversation or systematic HSK exam preparation. I speak fluent English and can explain difficult grammar and tone rules clearly in English. I create a supportive classroom environment where students feel safe to make mistakes. I give positive, gentle feedback to build their confidence. I also introduce Chinese culture, such as festivals and folk stories, in class to make language learning vivid.
