Advert description
I have experience teaching and supporting learners of all ages, from Reception through to university level. My background as a Teaching Assistant and my BSc in Psychology mean I can offer a wide range of lessons tailored to different needs:
Primary School Support (Reception – Year 3): Phonics, reading, writing, spelling, maths, English, and preparation for assessments.
SEN Support: Experienced in working with vulnerable and looked after children, including those with speech and language needs, ADHD, autism, and sensory processing differences.
Secondary School & Sixth Form: Psychology and Sociology at GCSE and A-Level, including exam preparation, essay writing, and research skills.
Undergraduate Psychology: Broad support across psychology topics, including social, behavioural, cognitive, developmental psychology, research methods, and statistics.
Building public speaking skills and confidence
Study Skills & Confidence Building: Essay planning, revision techniques, critical thinking, and public speaking.
I adapt my approach to the age, level, and learning style of each student, ensuring lessons are clear, supportive, and engaging. Whether it’s helping a young child build their literacy and numeracy skills, supporting a teenager with their A-Level exams, or guiding a university student through complex psychology modules, I aim to build confidence and make learning enjoyable.
