Offering Lessons In Production, Composition, Music Theory, Ear Training and Piano

I have a first-class degree in Creative Music Technology from Falmouth University. During this time I produced two solo albums, which taught me much of what I know about song-writing, production and mixing. I have experience in Logic Pro X and Pro Tools, and can teach you how to make your productions sound polished and professional.

I have since received several commissions for original video game music, which has developed my experience in composition. I can teach you the process of developing a composition, from the very first stages of writing a melody, to the final stages of editing and refining.

My personal instrument is the piano, but I also have some skill on the guitar and ukulele. I began my piano playing journey by reading sheet-music and learning classical pieces. I have since found that it's much more fun to play songs by ear, so my current focus is on learning jazz and blues from recordings.

I can guide you through learning the toolset needed to develop this skill; through internalising musical intervals, improving your musical memory, and gaining an understanding of the music theory you need to turn all this into a performance.
