I have gained meaningful experience as a private tutor, working closely with a small number of students to support their preparation for GCSE examinations, particularly in maths. Through tailored one-on-one sessions, I focused on identifying each student's strengths and areas for improvement, enabling them to develop confidence and achieve tangible progress in their academic performance.
In addition, I worked at Kumon, where I taught both English and maths to young children. This role helped me build a strong foundation in delivering structured learning plans and fostering early academic skills in a supportive, patient, and engaging manner. My experience at Kumon enhanced my ability to break down complex ideas into age-appropriate explanations, manage different learning paces, and cultivate positive study habits in young learners.
Through both private tutoring and my time at Kumon, I have developed strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills—key qualities that allow me to connect with students of different ages and learning styles.
