I have a passion for creative writing - it was a minor of my English degree, so I am always recommending books to pupils and always have time to proof read their own creative writing! I aim to make my lessons engaging, enjoyable and comfortable and am always happy to answer questions, approach topics differently and adjust my style to suit the needs of the pupil. I have a dialogic approach and am always open to questions and debate topics to further expand on ideas surrounding books, themes and characterisation. I will work alongside you, at your own pace, to give you confidence in your abilities. I can tutor across the range of English topics: spelling, grammar, reading and comprehension, writing and speaking and will happily adjust the focus of each session to ensure that we cover topics and skills thoroughly. Lessons would be available online in the evenings, via Zoom.
