I have over 18 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate levels, consistently delivering excellent results. My academic background includes a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Computer Science, and a PhD in Telecommunications. My teaching philosophy is rooted in discipline, consistent effort, and a deep understanding of the subject matter. In Physics, I focus on helping students truly grasp the underlying concepts rather than relying on memorisation. I ensure that each topic is explained clearly and thoroughly, guiding students to understand the ‘why’ behind each principle. In Mathematics, I break down each step methodically and assign carefully selected homework tasks to reinforce learning and develop problem-solving skills. I’m passionate about making a positive impact on my students’ futures by helping them achieve higher grades and gain admission to top universities. With a focus on hard work and discipline, many of my students exceed their own expectations. Several students who initially lacked confidence in GCSE Maths not only performed exceptionally well in their final exams but even chose to continue the subject at A-level. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how, through our work together, their attitude towards Maths transforms into one of confidence and enthusiasm.
