I am a deputy head of maths at a local secondary school, I have over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring with amazing results especially those with extra needs. I offer one to one tutoring, one to two tutoring and small groups of one to four. All sessions are to see the needs of the students with no prescriptive sessions. We work on recall of basic knowledge and then look to explore further to understand how the numbers work so that we have a better chance of being able to use them when we need them.
