Meet Ahmed Moussa, a senior translator and localizer with a passion for languages and technology. With over five years of experience in the translation and localization industry, Ahmed has worked on various projects for companies such as Arabize and Elaph, and has also provided freelance services for clients around the world. In addition to his full-time job, Ahmed also works as a freelance teacher for teaching Arabic and English as second languages, translator, localizer, and content writer, specializing in website writing and subtitling.

Ahmed holds a joint degree between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) in Egypt and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain. He majored in Arabic and English translation, with a minor in Spanish. He also studied media as a minor subject. Ahmed has also volunteered as a software tester, testing software accessibility for computer-assisted translation tools such as Phrase, memoQ, and Smartcat.

Outside of work, Ahmed enjoys coaching wrestling to young students and organizing sports events. He also has experience as an apprentice chef and woodworker, making trophies and custom pens. Ahmed has participated in several international exchange programs, including the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study exchange program, and the ThinkQuest program organized by Oracle Education. He is always looking for new opportunities to expand his skills and knowledge in the translation and localization industry.
