I'm a final-year Chemical Engineering student at London South Bank University, and maths is something I use every single day, from calculus and algebra to statistics and numerical methods. I tutor GCSE and A-level Maths, plus GCSE Chemistry. My lessons are relaxed and patient. In the first session I find out exactly where you are, what topics trip you up and what grade you're aiming for, then we build a plan around that. I explain things step by step in plain English, work through plenty of exam-style questions together and show you the tricks examiners look for. You'll get practice questions between sessions so the progress sticks. I also spent time working in a test lab, so I can show how the maths and science actually get used in real jobs, which helps it make sense.
