Maths tutor providing lessons to students of year elevens and below

Hi! I'm a friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor offering GCSE Maths tuition for students of all abilities up to and including Year 11.

Having achieved 9 A*s and 2 As at GCSE, I understand the importance of building a strong academic foundation and developing effective revision and exam techniques. I am also currently studying A-level Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, giving me a strong and up-to-date understanding of the academic skills needed to succeed.

My approach to tutoring is centred around making Maths understandable, accessible and, most importantly, enjoyable. I recognise that every student learns differently, so I aim to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual's needs, strengths and areas for improvement. Whether you're looking to strengthen your understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts, improve your confidence with more challenging topics, or work towards achieving the highest possible GCSE grade, I'm happy to help.

I place particular emphasis on understanding the reasoning behind mathematical methods rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures. I also believe that practice is essential, so lessons can incorporate carefully selected questions, worked examples and exam-style problems to help consolidate knowledge and develop problem-solving skills.

Above all, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their education.
