Scottish Tutor for National 5 / Higher / Advanced Higher

I have been a tutor for 2 years now and have taught students from all levels.

I have experienced firsthand what difference having a good educator can do to a young person's academic ability and future success. I struggled in mathematics in my early years of school but when I was introduced to passionate educators my ability and motivation subsequently improved allowing me to sit Higher and a year early, achieving 99%.

I would like to give the same energy my past educators have put into each of their lessons.

I specialise in my tutoring for National 5 / Higher / Advanced Higher Mathematics & Mathematics of Mechanics.

I have tutored students from many schools; all of which have achieved/exceeded their predicted grades in the final examination. Mathematics requires problem-solving and the ability to adapt prior knowledge to unfamiliar contexts. This is why I will regularly add content that surpasses the requirements of the course to build a deeper understanding of the material.

I provide full notes for the above courses which explain every topic in detail. This is particularly helpful for Maths of Mechanics as many of the topics can be conceptually difficult to understand.

Since I have recently completed my studies in the Scottish Curriculum feel as if I can relate to the student's struggles they feel during their studies.
