A degree educated Registered Nurse with over 5 years healthcare experience. Recent work settings include community (district) nursing, primary care and unscheduled/ OOH care, latterly as a Nurse Practitioner. Currently a Senior Charge Nurse responsible for operational delivery of a national triage service.
In addition to being a practising clinician, previous postgraduate researcher with experience designing a qualitative study and a PGCert in Research Methods.
Qualified Practice Supervisor for Nursing/AHP students.
Member of Institute of Health and Social Care Management (MIHSCM), Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health (AMRSPH), Nurse Affiliate Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine and Member of the Primary Care Diabetes Society.
Recipient of multiple university awards. Finalist in RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards.
