General teacher of SEN students and PMLD. I have training and years of experience working both in the classroom and in outdoors

I have an honours degree in the study of education. This was focused on teaching methods, strategies, critical thinking skills along with intense modules around SEN and PMLD.
After completing my degree I then worked in many specialist schools across South Wales.
I am also a trained outdoor pursuits instructor and again worked with many children low in confidence. This taught me many ways of inspiring self confidence in children of all ages.
Recently, during the COVID-19 Pandemic I began tutoring some children online, who had missed out on over a year of much needed education. Some children were 11 and missed the last year of primary. My focus here was on helping them integrate into the secondary school system. A few others were children who were finding it hard with coping just integrating back to a normal classroom environment.
