Zunaiba Abdulrahman

I am a passionate lecturer specialising in Accounting and Finance. I have over six years of prior experience as an Enhanced Banking Advisor and Mentor, a PhD, and over five years of experience in teaching. Since earning my PhD in 2023, I have authored three papers, two of which have been published in prominent international peer-reviewed journals.

I have experience teaching university students at all levels (years 1, 2, and 3) in accounting and finance degree programs and other business-related courses (core accounting and finance modules). I am passionate, supportive, and eager to see my students develop. I have taught at three UK universities and am the module lead for three accounting and finance modules and also, served as an external marker for Advance Management Accounting in UK university.

I am currently, teaching at the University of Sheffield International College and I am a module coordinator of accounting and finance.

My teaching technique is clear, practical, and unique. I bring a distinctive blend of practical experience and academic knowledge that enables me to engage students from diverse backgrounds and foster their understanding of complex accounting and finance subjects or modules using storytelling and role play. I ensure a solid understanding of all accounting topics for all students. Throughout my teaching career, I have consistently received positive feedback from students on my ability to articulate concepts clearly and foster interactive learning environments.
