With a B.A in English language and literature, I have an extensive teaching experience in English as a foreign language. I have taught English to students of all age categories in both Tunisia and Oman. I taught a variety of subjects, including, but not limited to, vocabulary, grammar, English conversation, and much more. While in Canada, I had a short, but , interesting volunteering experience, co-teaching English with a Canadian colleague, and I was a supply teacher of French, in the context of inclusion and diversity, for almost five years. I also taught allophone students (new comers to Canada who don't, or hardly, speak English/French) through the FrancoJeunes programme.

During all these years, I was exposed to all methods and approaches in langugae teaching. I specifically adopted an eclectic approach, which takes the best from every method, while focusing more on the most up to date communicative approach of English teaching. I also used a variety of tasks and techniques, delivering a content in a play-like way while creating a positive and motivating atmosphere in class.

In my teaching, I give much weight to communication and conversation and to everyday use of English. I strive to maintaining a good and friendly relation with clients/students for a smooth delivery of lessons and content. Continuous assessment and evaluations, as well as Keeping a record of students' progress is a priority. I promise my clients a first class service and a life time experience.
