In my lessons you will gain confidence in your Mathematic abilities. We will discuss reasoning and problem solving questions and focus on learning strategies to complete and solve questions. You will gain knowledge in a range of Mathematical subjects including Fractions, decimals, multiplication, shape and statistics. Lessons are taught in a fun and interactive way, which gives students the confidence to explain answers and use mathematical vocabulary.

I have ten years of Primary Teaching and tutoring experience and started teaching online since the 2020 pandemic. My present focus is on teaching the Year 6 SAT (11+) exam strategies, although all of my teaching methods and strategies apply to all Primary Year groups. Groups are taught in numbers of minimum of 2 up to 6 students per group for an hour at a time. Ideally once a week so that pupils can gain an understanding of what has been taught, so as not to overload them with information. Children will be given a range of tasks throughout the session and are expected to use a whiteboard or notepad of their own to complete the work. The groups are taught so that children can input as much or as little as they wish to do so. This means that there is zero expectation to speak on the mike or type within the chat box. Anxious children and children with SEN needs have the chance to take part with lessons without being put on the spot. Children can then go at their own pace.
