My math classes are organized, encouraging, and completely customized to meet the needs of each student. In order to develop a customized plan that fosters confidence and consistent advancement, I start by evaluating where you are—your strengths, obstacles, and objectives. In every session, I simplify ideas into easy-to-follow steps and lead you through examples that help you grasp the concepts. I welcome inquiries, experiment with various strategies, and take the time to make sure you fully understand the subject before continuing. I modify my teaching approach to suit your learning style, whether it is through practice problems, real-world applications, visual aids, or thorough explanations.
Short check-ins to gauge comprehension, problem-solving techniques, and guided practice are common components of lessons. Additionally, I offer advice on test-taking strategies, study habits, and math confidence. In order to help reinforce what we learned, I can provide additional practice or resources in between sessions.
I have expertise instructing students from middle school through early college, including those with math phobia or deficiencies in fundamental abilities. I foster a relaxed, supportive environment where you may ask questions and progress at your own speed. By demonstrating the connections between each idea and its significance, I hope to make math seem reasonable, approachable, and even fun.
