Hello! I am a friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I hold a BA and MRes in Education from the University of Bath and submitted my PhD thesis in Education in August 2026. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of teaching, learning and young people's educational experiences.

I have experience tutoring primary school Mathematics, GCSE English and A-level Psychology. I also worked as a PhD Tutor with The Brilliant Club, delivering in-person tutorials to Year 7 students. Additionally, I previously worked as an Assistant Curriculum Designer, developing English workbooks, assessments and educational resources.

My teaching methods are flexible and tailored to each student's needs. I begin by understanding their current abilities, learning goals and areas of difficulty. I then use clear explanations, guided practice, interactive activities and constructive feedback to help them develop their understanding and independence.

I offer support in English, writing, Psychology and Social Sciences, including essay structure, reading comprehension, critical thinking and academic skills. I am also fluent in English and Cantonese and can provide bilingual explanations where helpful.

Above all, I want my students to feel encouraged, enjoy learning and recognise their own progress.
