My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and tailored to each student. I like to start by finding out what you're confident with and where you might be struggling, so we can focus on the areas that really need attention. I explain things in a clear, step-by-step way and use examples and practice questions to help make everything stick. There’s always time to ask questions, go over tricky topics, and build confidence at your own pace. Whether you're preparing for an exam or just want to get a better grasp of the subject, my goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and more achievable.
I first got into tutoring by helping my younger brother prepare for his 11+ exams, focusing on Maths and Verbal Reasoning. I worked with him to break down tricky concepts, explain things clearly, and build up his confidence with lots of practice and encouragement. It was really rewarding to see how much he improved over time, and even more so when he passed his exams successfully. That experience showed me how much I enjoy teaching and supporting others in their learning. I was very happy to see him pass his 11+.
