My online lessons are calm, structured and personalised to each child’s level and learning needs. I specialise in phonics, early reading, spelling and primary maths, supporting children aged 4–9 who need extra confidence, practice or a clearer step-by-step approach.

Each lesson begins with a short warm-up to help the child feel comfortable and focused. I then introduce or revise key skills using visual resources, interactive activities and clear modelling. In phonics, this may include practising sounds, blending, segmenting, tricky words, reading short sentences and building spelling confidence. In maths, lessons may focus on number recognition, counting, place value, addition, subtraction, times tables, problem-solving or filling gaps in understanding.

I have over 10 years’ experience teaching phonics and supporting children in primary education. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style, pace and resources to suit the child. My aim is not only to improve academic skills, but also to help children feel successful and more confident in themselves.

Online lessons are engaging, friendly and focused, with plenty of encouragement and opportunities for the child to take part. At the end of each lesson, I can briefly update parents on what we covered and what the next steps are.
