I understand that all my students are different which is why I take a different approach based on individual needs. I try to make the sessions as fun and enjoyable as possible to create a rich learning environment. I endeavor to remove the stress and pressure from learning to make my students feel as relaxed as possible. Being a Y13 student, I feel I can easier relate to the struggles of a student, specifically the areas they may find difficult.

Most importantly, though, I want students to be comfortable with making mistakes and asking questions. We learn best by righting our misconceptions, so it's beneficial to find as many as we can (better to make mistakes now than in the exam!)

Having studied Maths and Further Maths at GCSE and A-Level (with A's and A*'s across the board) I have a broad and deep understanding of the syllabus, and can effectively deliver a maths tuition to students of all ability levels. Maths is a complex subject, and I can detangle the web of topics and areas to find potential weaknesses in students' knowledge, ensuring they can reach their maximum potential.

I run one hour, 1-to-1, zoom sessions. Students are free to bring problems, homework, tests, or topics they're stuck on, otherwise we'll tackle the areas of the syllabus that people generally find most difficult. I use a graphic tablet and stylus combined with online software to illustrate, as well as specially tailored exercises and activities, targeting areas of development.
