Lessons will be tailored to each student, Maths is a subject that requires strong foundations and practice. Any gaps in knowledge will be identified and covered through tests. I will provide a good positive environment for students so that they can improve their mathematical capabilities without any pressure or stress.
In my past experiences in tutoring students at school, I have noticed that many students feel that they are not "naturally" good at maths and that's why they don't do well in exams. However most of the time it's just small mistakes that they make because they don't have a good understanding of the topic and its foundations. I can teach these topics in a way that is easy for the student to understand, this would be different for every student because different students have different ways of understanding things.
In the end, the goal is to achieve a good grade through solid understanding so that the student is future-proofed and ready for their next level of study.
Typically, lessons will differ based on the objectives of each student, for example, a student who just needs tutoring to accompany them through the course while they are learning the topics in school or a student who has already covered the topics in school and needs some extra help for exam preparation.
