Hi, I am offering maths and physics tutoring for students up to GCSE age. I have been tutoring for 9 months and I can confidently say it has helped develop the skill set of my students. As well, for the 2026 GCSE maths and physics exams I was especially skilled at predicting the questions that came up. My lessons range from 1 hour to an hour and a half. The structure of my lessons are: 3 questions recall on previous topics, introduction of a new topic, guided question practice, independent question practice, summary. Although having a foundational understanding of a principle or topic it is important that students are also able to apply their knowledge in a way that will get them the highest marks. That’s why I try and break down questions, step by step, into a simple formula that students can seamlessly replicate in order to achieve as many marks as possible, even if they receive a difficult paper. In addition, I usually make a set of notes that my students can look back to for revision. I encourage my students to be pragmatic and proactive thinkers, and be able to see how topics link together. In the same way, I not only build their exam confidence but also build beneficial exam habits. I truly believe with the right support and encouragement any student can achieve those top grades!
