My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. At the start, I assess the student’s strengths, weaknesses, and syllabus requirements to create a clear plan. Sessions typically combine explanation, guided practice, and active discussion, with a strong focus on building confidence and independent thinking.

For History, lessons focus on understanding key content alongside developing essential skills such as essay structure, source analysis, and argumentation. I work closely with students on planning and writing essays, analysing sources, and mastering exam technique, particularly for IB-style assessments. I encourage discussion and critical thinking to help students move beyond memorisation and develop strong, evaluative responses.

For Maths, lessons are problem-focused and practical. I explain concepts step by step, ensuring students understand the underlying logic before moving on to exam-style questions. We work through examples together, identify common mistakes, and practice strategies to improve accuracy and speed. I place emphasis on clear methods, consistent practice, and building confidence with challenging problems.

Across both subjects, I bring tutoring experience and a supportive, patient approach. I aim to make lessons engaging, clear, and effective, while helping students develop strong study habits and the confidence to succeed independently.
